Title: Rectify | Cast: Aden Young, Abigail Spencer, J. Smith-Cameron, Adelaide Clemens, Clayne Crawford, Luke Kirby | Airing: From 22 April 2013 until now (Season 3) | Genre: Drama | Rating: 3/5
On Season 3, Rectify became more serious drama series which escalated into a dark story in each episodes, especially on 1st episode. Daniel started to life with his ability to know every person around him. He missed 21-year in his life, but surely he not missing any details about every person around him.
Daniel has to leave his hometown in 30 days due to his confessing about his action on previous season, the situation become complex after Tawney, his merely girlfriend but already married with another man decide to breaking a relationship with Teddy, his man. But, Teddy who loves Tawney more than everything asking Daniel to leave her alone.
In the end of episode, Daniel back flashing his memory to his death row in jail, he envisions himself being strapped to the injection chair.
For me, Rectify is clearly not the typical series that easily to loved. But when you loved it you will hooked in every episodes. Based on my experience, Rectify can grab an adult audience who loved Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire and the kind-of-same-type series. Bit boring if you are not into a-long-dialogue-drama with medium pace.
